Guillermo Rigondeaux stays unbeaten after very impressive win by unanimous decision against Jospeh Agbeko. All 3 judges gave 120-108 for Rigondeaux. Rigondeaux successfully defended his WBO Super World super bantamweight and WBO super bantamweight titles.
Many people thought that it will be
another boring match will little action from Rigo, and a lot but not so
successful action from Agbeko. But the fight went completely different
way. Southpaw Rigondeaux started the fight very active, this time he
used a lot of offensive weapons. One of them was an upper cut from the
outside and this is the punch you wont see a lot. Especially the one
that connects so often.
I mean from the first round everybody
was expecting Agbeko to go forward as he always does, and Rigo staying
on the defensive stance and countering Agbekos punches. Instead of this
Rigondeaux started to use his jab and short combinations and he put
pressure on surprised Agbeko....
