Boxing News: Manuel Charr and Robert Stieglitz won as expected

Well as it was meant to be both German fighters won there bouts on last Saturday in Leipzig, Germany. I do not mean that there were any controversy because they were hometown fighters. They both won against weaker opposition and that's it. I can say that Denis Bakhtov even made some troubles for Manuel Charr as he was quite fast as heavyweight and was able to connect big punches and also many nice combinations. He had the problems to connect his punches to a higher Charrs head, but he was able to work on his body.

The main problem for Russian was that he had no defense, and Charr was able to land a lot of his shots. After 5 rounds Russian already looked beaten also it looked like he injured one of his hands and he was unable to continue, so the fight was stopped. Manuel Charr won by TKO round 6. One way or another it was nice fight to watch as Russian went forward all time and used big combinations what is rare in the heavyweight division.

While Robert Stieglitz vs Isaac Ekpo fight was boring as hell. Ekpo played it very safe, as he was afraid to be touched, he was moving backwards and blocking all his body with his hands for almost all the fight. Stieglitz was dominating the fight, he landed enough to win by unanimous decision 118-110, 118-110, 109-119 by all three judges. There is nothing else to tell about that fight. It was super defense, zero action bout of two completely different level fighters. For those who are not big boxing fans there is no need to watch this boring zero action fight...
