Post Fight Analysis: Timothy Bradley vs Juan Maneul Marquez: Bradley by SD

   After a perfect performance Timothy "Desert Storm" Bradley (31-0-0(12 KO) stays unbeaten and protects his WBO welterweight title against Mexican boxing legend Juan Manuel Marquez (55-7-1(40 KO) by a close split decision. Judges scored 115-113, 112-116; 113-115, for Bradley. The judge that scored 115-113 for Marquez was watching some other fight I believe, because his result has nothing in common with the the action that happened in the ring. I mean Bradley came to the fight with a perfect boxing plan how to beat counter-puncher Marquez and he followed that plan for all 12 rounds, while Marquez was eating jabs for all 12 rounds and was looking to land that one punch that can change everything.

 The plan of the fight was clear from the beginning. Bradley was afraid of Marquez power so he started the fight with fast in and out hitting Marquez with his jab and sometimes landing his fast combinations. Marquez was chasing Bradley all over the ring, but Bradley had an excellent foot work and was able to avoid Marquez aggression. Marquez was landing very few shots. I mean if you saw one round, you can say that you saw first 10. It was the same scenario.

   Bradley moves better, comes in, lands his jab and goes out fast. Marquez tries to catch him in his way in but is too slow and hits the air. Marquez was able to catch Bradley in every round and land 1-2 big shots, but it happened so rare that sometimes it looked like only Bradley is boxing and Marquez just taking punishment.

Boxing News: Amir Khan won't face Devon Alexander

 Former well known and respected British boxer Amir"King Khan" Khan(28-3-0(19 KO) rated 18 in the world and 2 in the UK didn't agree to face decent southpaw American opponent Devon"Alexander the Great" Alexander(25-1-0(14 KO) rated 3 in the world and 2 in the USA for his IBF world Welterweight title on December as it was planned. Khan won't face anyone this year, because he is still dreaming that Floyd Mayweather Jr. can pick him as his next opponent next year. That can be a huge payday for Khan if Floyd decides to destroy him instead of Danny Garcia or Devon Alexander.

     I just don't imagine why Floyd should even think about well behind his prime Amir Khan from Britain without any titles and 2 poor last performances instead of 2 American fighters who have much bigger fan base in the USA and both are the champions..

This will be the bout for Bradleys WBO welterweight title. Both men are top class fighters. This will be very interesting match to watch.

    Timothy Bradley comes to this match after two controversial victories by decisions against Many Pacquiao and Ruslan Provodnikov. While Marquez comes after his great KO victory over Many Pacquiao and decision victory over Serhiy Fedchenko last year.
   Marquez had no fights this year while Bradley successfully defended his belt against hard hitting "Siberian Rocky" Ruslan Provodnikov on March...

Post Fight Analysis: Miguel Cotto vs Delvin Rodriguez: Cotto TKO round 3;

    Well Miguel "Junito" Cotto(38-4-0(31 KO) made a big come back statement this Saturday when he practicaly torn apart his opponent Delvin Rodriguez(28-7-3(16 KO) by TKO round 3. This was very important win for Cotto as he came after 2 big losses and it was a big question is he still the same Cotto he was before. Delvin wasn't the real deal infact, but he was tough enough for a test, that Cotto passed with A+. I mean Cotto was definitely the favorite in this fight, but a lot of boxing experts and fans thoughtt that Rodriguez will be able to go to the distance with Cotto. As I said in my prediction before this fight, I see a big mismatch here. I predicted this fight - Cotto TKO round 8, but well Cotto was much faster in fact.

  From the beginning Cotto did what he had to do. He went fast forward, used his jab on way in, and worked Rodriguez body and head with his big punches. Rodriguez instead of keeping the distance and going forward with his jab, or clinching was always running and throwing some jabs and one-two from his back foot. In first round Cotto connected so many big body shots that I understood that my scenario for the end of the fight will be exactly what I predicted just much faster...

Post Fight Analysis: Wladimir Klitschko vs Alexander Povetkin: Klitschko by UD;

   The fight between Wladimit "Dr Steelhammer" Klitschko  (61-3-0(51 KO) and the challenger Alexander "Russian Vityaz" Povetkin(26-1-0(18 KO) for IBF, WBO, WBA, IBO heavyweight titles didn't bring the upset on late Saturday evening in Moscow. Wladimir won the fight by unanimous decision 119-104 from all three judges. It was ugly to watch fight, because Wladimir used his favorite jab, jab and grab tactics for all 12 rounds and used his big right hand very rare, as he was afraid of counter left hook from Povetkin to connect. Well I predicted the fight to end by TKO round 8, and I was wrong, but in my defense I can say that it was close in round 7 to be over as Povetkin was sent to canvas 3 times on that round.

Well I can say that result 119-104 is fear enough as in my opinion Povetkin lost all 12 rounds. He was close to win first round but in the end Wladimir connected big left hook that stunned Povetkin. I believe Povetkin was hurt with that hook and he felt down after it, offcaurse he was pushed by Wladimir but still his legs were gone. It was in the end of the round and it ended without any big deal.
   Situation changed in second round when Wladimir connected very short left hook, that almost looked like a jab. Only on slow mode it was clear that it was hook. Povetkins legs was gone and he felt on the canvas. He was good to go, but at that moment I understood that the fight for Povetkin is lost...

Boxing Prediction: Miguel Cotto vs Delvin Rodriguez: 2913-10-05, USA

   Best Puerto Rico boxer Miguel"Junito"Cotto(37-4-0(30 KO) will try to end his loosing stream this Saturday when he faces Delvin Rodriguez(28-6-3(16 KO) from Dominican Republic. This is the match Miguel must win or die. He comes to his fight after 2 big losses in a row. But his opponents were the ones you must not be ashamed: Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Austin Trout. Delvin Rodriguez comes to this fight after 2 big wins by TKO this year. He stopped George Tahdooahnippah on February by TKO round 6 and on May he stopped Freddy Hernandez by TKO round 8 for the vacant IBF North American light middleweight title. In fact that was not a real TKO, the doctor adviced referee to stop the fight becouse of an accidental cut over Hernandez left eye.

   Both of the guys were punished by the talented young sauthpow Austin Trout last year by unanimous decisions. Miguel Cotto changed his trainer after his last defeat and now he comes to the fight prepared by legendary trainer Fredie Roach.

Boxing Predictions: Klitschko vs Povetkin: 2013-10-05; Moscow

   Vladimir"Dr Steelhammer"Klitschko(60-3-0(51 KO) will face undefeated former olympics gold medalist from Russia Alexander"Russian Vityaz"Povetkin(26-0-0(18 KO) on October 5 (this Saturday) in Moscow, Russia. IBF, WBO,WBA and IBO heavyweight title at stake. It will be more competitive opponent for Vladimir after his taken out of space Pianetas, Mormecks and Wachs. Povetkin comes after his 2 straight wins by TKO against Hasim Rahman and Andrzej Wawrzyk in early rounds. By the way both fighters had only 1 fight this year. Povetkin destroyed Andrzej Wawrzyk by TKO round 3 and Klitschko stopped Francesco Pianeta by TKO round 6

   This fight definitely will attract big attention from all boxing fans around the world. The bout will be shown on HBO. I believe last time HBO showed Klitschko fight was his fight against David Haye, for truth that was last decent opponent whom Klitschko fought. Many people try to guess is Povetkin the one that can end Klitsckos domination in heavyweight devision era, or will he be just another destroyed hope. People believe that unbeaten Povetkin has a chance becouse of his going forward fighting style, that coused some problems for Klitscko before...
