Boxing Predictions: Jennings vs Perez: 2014-07-26; USA

29 years old unbeaten American Bryant "By-By" Jennings(18-0-0(10 KO) rated number 3 in the USA and number 13 in the world will face unbeaten southpaw Cuban Mike "The Rebel" Perez(20-0-1(12 KO) rated number 2 in Cuba and number 16 in the world on this Saturday night, July 26 in Madison Square Garden, New York, USA. This will be a 12 rounds bout with no title at stake.

Mike Perez comes to this fight after the upset draw against French Carlos Takam(29-1-0) on January this year. Before that he won by unanimous decision against at that time unbeaten Russian Magomed Abdusalamov(18-0-0) on November 2013.

Bryant Jennings comes to this fight after the TKO round 10 win against at that time unbeaten hard hitting Pole Artur Szpilka(16-0-0) on January this year. Before that he stopped Russian Andrej Fedosov(24-2) on June 2013. Fedosov was beaten badly and didn't continue the fight after 6 rounds.

Two unbeaten heavyweights will face each other this Saturday night. Both of them produce good boxing and I believe we will see an exciting fight....

Post fight analysis: Terence Crawford vs Yuriorkis Gamboa: Crawford by TKO round 9

Terence Crawford successfully defended his WBO lightweight title last Saturday night against unbeaten Cuban Yuriorkis Gamboa. Terence Crawford won the fight by TKO round 9, but he was able to drop Gamboa 4 times during that fight.

Crawford was able to drop Gamboa 4 times, but it wasn't a one sided fight at all. Gamboa was much faster and was able to dominate the fight in the first half even with his size disadvantage. After 3 rounds me and most of the judges I believe had Gamboa 30-27, but it looks like his chin is the weak spot.

I mean Gamboa was landing great power shots right to the button many times, but it looked like Terence had no problems with them. And after 3  poor rounds he changed the stance to the southpaw and that's when the fight changed.

It looks like Gamboa is one of those fighters who's body has some problems because of his amateur background. All his life his body was prepared for the 3 rounds fight, and it looks like he has some problems with his stamina and energy after 3 rounds. If it was an amateur fight he had won it, as he looked great for the first 3 rounds landing his overhands and hard shots to the body and showing great defense, but it is a 12 rounder and you must be ready for all 12....
