Boxing Prediction: Arthur Abraham vs Robert Stieglitz: 2014-03-01; Germany

   Arthur "King Arthur" Abraham (38-4-0(28 KO) rated number 2 in Germany and number 10 in the world will face for the third time another German Robert Stieglitz(46-3-0(26 KO) rated number 1 in Germany and number 3 in the world on this Saturday, March 1 in GETEC Arena, Magdeburg, Germany. This will be a 12 rounds bout with WBO super middleweight title at stake.

   Arthur Abraham comes to this fight after poor performance against "no name" Italian Giovanni De Carolis(20-4)  on September 2013. Abraham won the fight by unanimous decision but the fight was boring to watch big cat and mouse game, where Italian was running like mad from Arthur for all 12 rounds and Arthur was just incapable to cut the ring and finish the clown. Before that Abraham won by unanimous decision against Willbeforce Shihepo(20-6) from Namibia on August 2013. Some boxing writers and experts saw this fight as a close one, but I believe Abraham was more accurate with his big punches and Shihepo didn't connect anything big clean. He was just throwing his jab over and over again, and that jab had absolutely no effect on Abraham.

   Robert Stieglitz comes to this fight after an easy victory by unanimous decision against Isaac Ekpo(22-1) from Nigeria on September 2013. Before that  he won by TKO round 10 against Yuzo Kiyota(23-3-1) from Japan on July 2013.

   This will be the third time these two will meet. First time Abraham took control of the fight and won an easy fight against Stieglitz on 2012, but in the rematch Stieglitz unload a fury of shots from the beginning and Abraham wasn't able to see with one eye on the end of round 3. The fight was stopped and Stieglitz became a new champion with TKO victory over Arthur Abraham....

Boxing Prediction: Julio Cesar chavez Jr. Vs Brian Vera:2014-03-01; USA

   Only once defeated Mexican boxing legend Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.(47-1-1(32 KO) rated number 1 in Mexico and number 4 in the world will face American Brian Vera(23-7-0(14 KO) rated number 2 in the USA and number 12 in the world this Saturday, March 1 in Alamodome, San Antonio, Texas, USA. This will be a 12 rounds rematch between these two with no title at stake.

   Julio Cesar Chavez comes to this fight after his controversial win by unanimous decision against same Brian Vera(23-6) on September 2013. Before that he took his first loss against southpaw Sergio Gabriel Martinez(49-2-2) from Argentina on September 2012.

   Brian Vera comes to this fight after his controversial loss against same Julio Cesar Chavez(46-1-1) on September last year. Before that he was lucky with a stoppage because of a cut against Lithuanian Donatas Bondrovas(17-3-1) on March 2013. Bondrovas took over the fight from the middle rounds and Vera was lucky that doctor stopped the fight after 6 rounds because of the cut over Bondrovas left eye.

   I hope the rematch will be more entertaining than the first fight. I hope Chavez will be more active this time.....

Post Fight Analysis: Tyson Fury vs Joel Abell: Fury by TKO round 4;

   Unbeaten Tyson "2 Fast" Fury stays unbeaten after quite impressive performance last Saturday night against hard hitting southpaw American Joel Abell. It took  only 4 rounds for "2 Fast" to destroy raging American.  It was really very exciting fight to watch as both boxers placed there best on the table.

   The fight took only 4 rounds, but we saw 4 knockdowns and knockdowns is what makes heavyweight fights so exciting.  Tyson Fury put a great performance and now he has 22 straight wins, no defeats and 16 wins by KO/TKO.  Some boxing writers were cruel on Tyson, because of his behaviour during the fight, because of his low blow in the 3rd. Because of him using his size advantage and poor boxing skills and etc...

   In fact I wasn't very impressed with Tysons boxing skills, because I knew that he has good boxing skills. He dominated all fight using his jab. And kept hard hitting southpaw in the distance as much time as possible.

   From the first round Fury started to control the fight. He knew that Abell is very active and very dangerous on the first rounds. Fury let his jab go and was moving a lot on the ring to avoid American attacks. Abell was eating those jabs and he had problems to make his own attacks. But he was able to cut the distance once and landed nice big shot right to the Furys jaw. Fury took that shot, and I was surprised that he took it so well. Steve Cunningham dropped Fury with less powerful shot, but this time Fury showed perfect jaw......

Post fight Analysis: Dereck Chisora vs Kevin Johnson: Chisora by UD;

    Dereck "Del Boy" Chisora outboxed lazy as hell former respected and now joke of a boxer Kevin "Kingpin" Johnson and won by unanimous decision 118-109, 118-109,118-110. The fight that took place in Copper Box Arena last Saturday was quite boring because of a lazy and clinching Johnson.

   Chisora promised to knock Kevin out but he was unable to do that. He was able to drop Johnson once on round 5 with a beautiful overhand right to the head. But Johnson wasn't hurt after that punch. He recovered fast and was able to continue without any problems. It was the fifth straight win for Dereck and the third loss out of 4 last fights for Johnson.

   I mean the fight was boring. Kevin Johnson as usually fought only on first and last round. He was throwing his jab all the time and used his right hand very rare. Chisora went forward as expected and was able to land much more bigger punches on the inside.

  I mean it was all the same for all 12 rounds. Only on the last round Johnson went forward and let his hands go. He hurt gassed out Chisora, but put zero attempts to finish the fight....

Boxing Predictions: Tyson Fury vs Joey Abell: 2014-02-15, UK

  Unbeaten British heavyweight hope 25 years old Tyson Fury(21-0-0(15 KO) rated number 1 in the UK and number 4 in the world will face hard hitting southpaw American Joey Abell(29-7-0(28 KO) rated number 38 in the USA and number 120 in the world this Saturday, February 15 in Copper Box Arena, London, United Kingdom. This will be a 10 rounds bout with no titles at stake.

    Tyson Fury comes to this fight after a big break from boxing. He waited for David Haye fight but that fight was canceled two times, so Tyson Fury had almost 1 year lay off. On his last fight he stopped American Steve Cunningham(25-5) by TKO round 7 on April 2013, before that he won by the unanimous decision against another American Kevin Johnson(28-2-1) on December 2012.

   Joey Abell comes to this fight after a los by TKO round 5 against light hitting Romanian Kubrat Pulev(18-0) on December 2013. It was  a dirty fight with a lots of knockdowns. Before that he stopped "no name" American Maurenzo Smith(11-6-2) on July 2013.

    This fight can be called a mismatch, but  with the power that Abell has it still has a chance to be a great upset....

Boxing Prediction: Dereck Chisora vs Kevin Johnson: 2014-02-15; UK

   30 years old Dereck "Del Boy" Chisora(19-4-0(13 KO) rated number 2 in the UK and number 7 in the world will face 34 years old Kevin "Kingpin" Johnson(29-4-1(14 KO) rated number 13 in the USA and number 37 in the world on this Saturday, February 15 in Copper Box Arena, London, United Kingdom. This will be a 12 rounds bout with WBO International heavyweight and WBA International heavyweight titles at stake.

   Dereck Chisora comes to this fight after TKO round 3 win against Czech Ondrej Pala(32-3) on the end of November 2013. It was a very strange victory with few illegal shots to the back of Palas head. Before that Dereck practically torn apart only once defeated German Edmund Gerber(23-1) by TKO round 5 on September 2013.

   Kevin Johnson comes to this fight after loss by unanimous decision against Romanian Christian Hammer(14-3) on the end of 2013. This fight was a draw or even Johsons win but he was fighting on the enemy ground and was so inactive that he was punished by a loss. Before that  he won against Australian Solomon Haumono(20-1-2) by KO round 10 on April 2013......

Post Fight Analysis: Gennady Golovkin vs Osumanu Adama: Golovkin by TKO round 7

   Gennady "GGG" Golovkin stays unbeaten after impressive performance last Saturday night in Monaco against Osumanu Adama. Osumanu Adama was never knocked out before, and he really proved that he has a great chin and he recovers very fast. Gennady Golovkin won the fight by TKO round seven, but Osumanu was still on his feet, just referee decided to stop that beating, because Osumanu face looked pretty bad and he was taking very big shots to the head.

   It was clear that he has no chances to win the fight and he was already knocked down on the end of the first round, and on round 6 and round 7 when  Golovkin changed to gear 2....

Boxing Prediction: Gennady Golovkin vs Osumanu Adama:2014-02-01; Monaco

   One of the best boxers ever, most avoided 31 years old Gennady "GGG" Golovkin(28-0-0(25 KO) rated number 2 in the world and number 1 in Kazakhstan will face 33 years old Osumanu "Machine Gun" Adama(22-3-0(16 KO) rated number 1 in Ghana and number 12 in the world on this Saturday, February 1 in Salle des etoiles,Monte Carlo, Monaco. It will be 12 rounds bout with WBA World middleweight and International Boxing Organization middleweight titles at stake.

   Gennady Golovkin comes to this fight after impressive win by TKO round 8 against hard hitting American Curtis Stevens(25-3)  on November 2013. Before that  he destroyed Matthew Macklin(29-4) from Britain in just 3 round by KO from the body punch on June 2013.

   Osumanu Adama comes to this fight after TKO round 7 victory over "no name"  American Doel Carraquillo(17-24-1) on July last year. Before that he won by a split decision against  another "no name" American Grady Brewer(30-14) on March 2013.

   I see this match as a big missmatch, but Gennady Golovkin has to stay busy and plans to fight 4 times a year, and when all champions avoids him he must fight such guys who win against guys with poor records by split decisions. Of course this is boxing and everyone has his chance,  but Adama is just a a few level down and it will be very hard for him to compete with the top guy....

Post fight Analysis: Victor Ortiz vs Luis Collazo: Collazo by KO round 2;

   Victor"The Quiter" Ortiz really impressed all boxing fans and experts with his another straight quit last night against light hitting Luis Collazo. After a very competitive first round where both boxers had there moments Victor wasn't ready for the beating in the second round.  He took some hard punches to the face and was dropped on the last second of round 2.

   The most embarrassing thing was not that the fighter was caught and dropped, but that the fighter just didn't even tried to get up when he still was able to continue and only one second left in that round to survive. The fighter who has no heart and no soul for boxing is not welcome on the sweet science.

   I mean the first round was really competitive. I even gave that round to Ortiz, because he was able to land his combinations and some hard punches to the body of Collazo. But on the second round Collazo looked better and started to land his big punches right to the Ortiz face.

   I believe Ortiz didn't like the taste of punches and looked very confused when he was hit over and over again to the face. On the end of round 2 he missed with his big right hook to the head(the punch landed on the Collazo chest) and was caught by counter right hook to the chin.

   That punch stunned and shocked Ortiz, for the moment his legs were gone, but soon they came back and Ortiz turned his back to the enemy and ran away to the ropes, but Collazo was able to catch him with two big shots to the back of his head.

  Second shot dropped Ortiz on his knees, and referee started the count. Ortiz decided that dancing is far less dangerous sport for him and his face will stay unbeaten, so he just waited referee to count him out and then stood up and went across the ring to congratulate the winner......
